I am a ceramic artist with a passion for making ceramic Christmas trees made with vintage molds. I started out making ceramic trees by buying an Atlantic A65 in bisque to recreate my Mom’s ceramic tree. My first attempt was close, but I them bought another bisque tree to try again. I made those for my siblings. Eventually, more people wanted one of my ceramic trees. Then one day, I was browsing marketplace and found a ceramic shop going out of business. I asked if they had tree molds and they had my Mom‘s Atlantic tree mold. They also had many other tree molds. I filled my SUV with molds and glazes and a new world opened up for me. I’ve been making ceramic trees ever since.
I was making trees as a hobby until I retired last spring as an automotive clay prototype sculptor. Since then, I have been doing Ceramics and trees full time. I wanted to buy some unusuaI Astro lights for my trees but they were very expensive. I decided to take a chance and get new ones reproduced.I worked for months getting the design right and just the right amount of glitter.Sparkle Lights was born. I wanted to make these beautiful and affordable. I hope you love these lights. They really sparkle!
